Hello! I am the founder of the Sassafras Dance Company. Since age three, I don't think I have missed a beat. I was very fortunate to find my passion for life at a very early age. Dancing has always been my creative outlet and I am constantly craving more. I love the stories that dancing can tell and how the same exact dance can be interpreted so many different ways. Dance can take you to another world and leave you feeling carefree! Now, I must warn you...Sassafras Dance Company is not your typical company. We cater to everyday adults who want explore the dance world. Basically adults who want to learn something new, but have a grrrrreat time doing it!! We do not have our own studio or uptight staff hounding you to do better. All our classes have "funny names" and some of our dance moves do too! Most dance studios have become too commercialized and all about MONEY.
What happened to the dancing? We are different! We have a passion for DANCE!
We currently offer classes at one location and hope to bring dance into the community environments!
