Art Sanctuary and The Alley Theater proudly present: Fight Girl Battleworld produced and directed by Scott Davis!
The epic journey of E-V, the last human female in a post-galactic war-torn universe. E-V, filled with self-hate and sad solitude over her human state, makes her living by fighting various galactic creatures at the underground fighting ring of Battle World. She eventually encounters General Dan’H, the war vet responsible for the genocide of humans. In his attempt to make amends for essentially wiping out her entire race of species, General Dan’H offers to lead E-V to the last human man in the universe. Aided by a gender-ambiguous alien spaceship pilot and a snarky malarky robot, E-V and the general embark on their quest to save the human race (with the hopes of making human babies!)…before impending galactic forces destroy them ALL.

All of us at Art Sanctuary want to thank each and every one of you for joining our new site. There's a lot we plan to do here so stay in touch and we'll keep you up to date on all the great things we have in the works.
Founded in Louisville, Kentucky in 2004, Art Sanctuary was formed around the humanist principle that "Your Life is Your Art." As a community arts collective, our mission is to provide support for local artists through promotions, events, and education. Our services are made available to all local artists who need a place to exhibit, perform, or create their original artwork, especially those who cannot obtain space to exhibit or perform from traditional sources because of financial or other limitations. Exhibitions and performances are non-juried and uncensored.
We not only provide an open mind and open doors to artists and audience alike, we believe that our mission adds to the cultural flavor of our city. We support the viability and vitality of Louisville's art community and we want to be a positive part of keeping that scene alive and interesting.
As of August 22, 2007 — retroactive to January 2005 — the IRS has officially recognized Art Sanctuary as a 501(c)3 organization! 501(c)3 status opens up so many opportunities for the organization itself and the artists we support.
